The INTERREG POCTEFA Compet’plus project aims to improve Business Competitiveness & Innovation Platforms for the strengthening of activities in the cross-border area, the creation of reinforced value chains, and the cooperation between SMEs and driving companies in converging RIS3 areas (energy, mobility, agri-food and creative industries).\nThe event aims to present and discuss the method and results, with a focus on how it can be used to advance cross-border cooperation. Through the session, we want to discuss what can be the role of border regions to become a smart, sustainable, and inclusive economy. It is also a space to discuss the role of digitalization and platform-based collaboration for opening new areas and types of interaction among regions and various stakeholders’ groups. Finally, the session will approach how to materialize this cooperation by creating cross-border clusters and innovation platforms.
