THE PROJECT
The aim is to boost business competitiveness and innovation of SMEs through cross-border cooperation between the three territories involved (Nouvelle Aquitaine, Euskadi and Navarra) in the field of R&D&I.
The project also plans to measure economic flows between the three regions and will identify SMEs, start-ups and technology centres with strong added value in four areas converging in the RIS3 (Research and Innovation Smart Specialisation Strategies): energy, mobility, Agri-food and creative industries.
As a final result, COMPET’plus aims to create two innovation platforms that will promote collaborative work between driving companies (large groups or leading companies) and supplier companies (SMEs and local companies) in order to generate a joint technological offer.
