VALUE CHAINS

Once the areas of specialisation common to the three territories have been defined, this action of the project seeks to advance in the construction of the value chains for each of them, as well as to identify the stakeholders and sectoral convergences.

To design the value chains, each partner will analyse the value chain of the selected area in its territory. The analysis of each territorial value chain, as well as its strong and weak links, and the mapping of driving companies and hidden champions, will make it possible to identify which companies in the Euroregion can occupy this space and relocate activities (sales and/or service provision) in the Euroregional space. In the same way, the needs for innovation and knowledge generation necessary to fill the existing gaps will be identified.

Identification of innovative companies

This action focuses on identifying the enterprises that can fill the missing links in the value chains, for each strategic sector. To this end, efforts will be directed towards characterising the missing competencies in the value chains and in the production, purchase/sale & service provision activities in order to relocate them, complete and reinforce the selected value chains.

Organisation of workshops and interviews with interested companies

The work of this action aims to create synergies related to the identified value chains between companies, start-ups, SMEs, universities, technology centres and clusters. The aim is to work together, cooperate and collaborate with a view to relocating activities that are outside the territories, and that can strengthen the value chains and the cross-border economy in the 4 converging areas studied.

Definition of profiles with potential for recruitment or for the creation of start-ups

In the work on the constitution of value chains, and the relocation of certain activities that escaped the territories, employment profiles necessary for the development of the activities and projects will be detected. To this end, professional profiles will be designed with the aim of covering the possible needs of companies in the short or medium term. These profiles and possible offers will be disseminated through existing platforms (e.g., Empleo-info.eu).
